Hi,
I saw Karl Hammar's post about the booting problem of TEKRAM card and
the resulting exchanges and learned about sym53c8xx=mpar:n boot parameter.
I have a Tekram DC390U2B
card that has been working fine on a
Gigabyte 586SG [with AMD K6-III/400 on a powerleap adapto
Package: boot-floppies
Version: 2.2.17-2000-11-11
I have tried to install potato a number of times using the 'idepci' install
disks. I choose this set so I can install the base system using my Zip drive.
Everything goes fine until the install system reboots. Once the system reboots

debian-installer design brainstorming session or such on irc
(#debian-boot on irc.debian.org). If we do something like Dec12 midnight UTC
