I today tried the alternative way of configuring the DHCP server, i.e.
using vendor options, and that seemed to do the trick also.
The segment that needs to be added to dhcpd.conf is:
# some "keep apple happy" voodoo
option vendor-class-identifier "AAPLBSDPC";
option vendor-encapsulated-options
Just wanted to say that the patch that Pip sent me, to increase the size of yaboots
tftp buffer, work flawlessly. That was very productive, I'll be seeing you.
Now the docs just need to be updated.

Hi all,
I recently began playing with some iMacs/eMacs I have here,
and thought I should do some usefull stuff, so I decided to run
the debian netboot install. I must say I think I'm making it it
