Hello, I saw your problem, and I just solve the mine.
I install Windows Server 2003 on the Dell R610, via Dell Systems Management
Tools.
Then I upgrade the BIOS (from Dell site)
And after that, the Debian Lenny could be installed easly.
If you need more details, mail-me.

I am trying to install Debian Lenny 5.0.1 on a Dell PowerEdge R610, when
I go to install, obviously the network card won't work, but I was
talking to someone online that suggested I try to use the same kernel as
the DebianInstaller, how do I go about doing this?
Debian Etch 4.0r8 works fine.
