Spotted while building netinst images locally via easy-build: I was
surprised to see fonts-* udebs included there. As far as I know,
those are useful at src:debian-installer build time, and included
via build/pkg

I’m trying to install Debian/Linux after a large amount of effort replacing
drives and fans etc. I configured the raid with no problems using the raid
card.

I've also been bitten by this bug. I'm installing Debian 7.3 on new hardware
that includes an asus P9D-E/4L server motherboard that has a bios-based
"virtual cdrom". I couldn't find a straightforward way to disable the extra
drive in bios, but I found another workaround, which is detailed below.
keep the NM-related dependencies on
the debian-cd side (iw was already taken care of in src:netcfg), we
could think of uploading tasksel with just that network-manager-gnome
dependency dropped, which would fix installability issues on kfreebsd-*.
I'm not exactly sure how well Gnome is supported on
