Indeed in the installer, there is openssh-client-udev, and I just
tested it, and `scp` works. Good enough.
Also very cool to see rsync available soon. That is very useful.
So no need for ftpput.
Lets focus on the `less` in this bug then.

If you have a network to scp over then you can `anna-install` the ssh
udebs on the fly first, no need to have them in the initrd.
