Same problem.
Wheezy installer stops at Detecting Network Hardware.
Installer doesn't try to detect any network hardware.
No progress bar.
I have an Intel 82562ET/EZ/GT/GZ network
card.
The installer I used: debian-testing-i386-netinst.iso 28-Jul-2012 17:27
