To provide more information about the nature of the problem I've tested also Ubuntu live desktop CD which seems to be able to boot on this same machine. Debian netinst CD-ROM is bootable on normal IBM PC clone. I think this indicates clearly that problem occurs only when Debian installation CD-RO
