I'm trying to boot the Squeeze CD1 iso from a USB drive using the hd-media
installer. I used the isolinux config files from the CD1 iso to present an
installation menu to the user using syslinux. What I noticed was that the gtk
config files, e.g. gtk.cfg, has the following line -

And now, where the ISO of unknown version, using 'linux', previously hung, it now
works.
And where test 2-pre, using 'linux', hung, it now works.

Perhaps this will help you figure out which installer version I used which
worked for me with kernels 2.4 and 2.6 that I was unable to provide the
version for; uname-a says 2.6.7-1-386 #1 Thu Jul 8 -5:08:04 EDT
