Well one cannot just run these two in sequence:

With --print-debs first there are packages on single lines. Then,
without even a newline, comes one long line of packages.

Using mini.iso,
we are asked to enter our IP address, or ask our administrator.
We don't know it yet because we need to make a PPP connection via ADSL!
So maybe we should be warned "forget any hope of doing this installation".

partman, and http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=partman finds lots,

There is no "check and see if we have the latest Packages file already
before downloading it all over again" each run.
