I can see why someone would want numlock enabled by default with a larger
keyboard but it causes confusion with a smaller one. Could you please roll
back this change?
Thanks,

When using the automatic partitioning into separate partitions, the
installer created a 386M /tmp partition. This is not enough, for example,
when watching a full-length YouTube movie:

yes , how do I get it? I have searched and am
unable to find it. If it has not been completed, is there an estimated
release date? Or is there a work around?

I hope you can help me, to get at least so far that it will leave
existing partitions
untouched, create new partitions using the free space on the hdd and
setup lvm correctly.
If it's impossible to shrink the ntfs partition, I could live with
that and shrink it
Hi there folks,
I've been banging my head against this for a week now, have searched
hundreds of pages, and still haven't quite figured this out.
I have four happy healthy Mac G4s, with ancient and dying EIDE hard
drives. As I expect the machines to live close to another half decade,

What is the status of the EVMS module for the debian-installer? When I click
on it nothing happens. I was in hopes that it would allow me to install
directly to EVMS volume. Is there some undocumented step that I am missing?
If it is truly broken, is there an alternate method of installing onto EVM

Hi all
I have install sarge with the daily cd from 02/14/04. all went well. System is up and running fine.

Hi guys
I am trying to install debian on one of the new SATA
drives. The main board is an Intel S875WP!E with 1 gig of ram. The 875 chipset
supports the new standard SATA drives. I have searched to no avail for info on
this. If you could point me in the right direction it would be great.
URGENT NEED.
I am Henry Winndu, an Aide of Ex President
Charles Taylor.
As you may know he has recently stepped
down from power and is presently in assylum in
Nigeria.
The purpose of my letter is to ask if you can
render the assistance requested and to bring
to bear my present position and the
installed debian on, it gives me an error in the open boot prom:
> "The file just loaded does not appear to be executable."
I do have the same problem with installing Solaris8. No clues so far.
Please give some more information about your hardware. Is your timekeeper /
NVRAM o.k. ?

Greetings,
First off, I sincerely apologize if this is already covered in a thread--I
haven't been around here long enough but nothing came up in an archive
search. In summary, my problem is with two of the minimal cd installers,
as well as the full jigdo 3.0 images. I'm a little stubborn in th
