Additional info:
I have tried this with the realtek drivers loaded off additional media and
using two other mirrors and it still hangs in the same place.

I have the same issue. Install off USB.
Currently hung on 12%
Select and Install Software
Running dpkg
I also selected to not import the Realtek Driver.

Model: Acer Aspire ES1-512-C12D

Graphics: Built in Intel Chip
