I had to make some minor changes to the script to get it to work.
I don't know, but you may want to implement the changes differently.
Regardless, before you submit the final 90console script, I assume I need

I only see this failure if I choose to use logical volumes during the
install. If I chose standard partitions, the system will successfully boot
from the drive.

It appears that the right thing to do is just to reject this bug.
I will continue my testing with Etch.

I can not find a zImage or zImage.initrd file at the URL above. Do you
plan to generate either of these two files?

Sven,
I found this initrd image (9/20/2003) that I am using for now:
http
vmlinuz-2.4.22-power3 32-bit image as well,
hint-hint. ;-)
Anybody know where I should obtain the debian-installer initrd image for
PowerPC systems? I plan to access the install image through NFS, and
install via FTP/HTTP. I assume that this installation method is supported.

Sven,
I would like to test the chrp-rs6k image and use it in conjunction with di;
however, I need zImage (or zImage.inetd) for network install, and the
vmlinux image.
It is not clear to me what these .deb and .udeb files are. A readme file
would help.

instances I broke out to the shell and issued the commands
manually, or as with the case of making the system bootable, delayed the
task until the install was complete.
I will work on this document some more and find a URL for it.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if anything is unclear or if you
ppies' would have to be modified much to work
properly; however, since 'debian-installer' is what will ship on the next
release I will see where I can help out there.
