run Debian, but on which compiling things like this might be suitably
tedious that there's increased demand for cross compiling.

I will have a futher patch at a later date to improve files which are
used to boot linux from RISC OS

that /target/lib/modules was a symlink to itself, and
there was a directory, modules.old which actually contained
the modules.
