I was installing Debian on a system with a fairly slow disk, and said "No"
to whether I wanted to run popularity-contest. The installer continued on
and happily installed it, just to purge it immediately afterwards. With my

I tried installing Debian 7.0 on a system with a fairly slow disk (an Asus
eeepc 901), so I enabled btrfs and compression, which made the install
process go very slowly. Doing so, I noticed that the man-db triggers are
called very many

Since my system (Asus eeepc 901) has fairly slow SSD disks, I tried to
install on a software RAID0 chain, but that failed to boot. These are the
steps I performed:
1. Set up two 4 gigabyte partitions (in my case sda2 and sdb1) for RAID.
