This wish concerns how hard disks are prepared for an installation. The expert
user interface should be kept basically the same, but the install program
should use something like blkid to determine what is

I have a copy of lenny *businesscard* that I downloaded on
20090906. It offers to stable, testing, or unstable, just as you
describe. I haven't been following this thread, but your statement
caught my eye. This datum might help you sort out how you got to
where you are.

say could be said better, I think.

Sebastian's correction to my work fixed the problem that I reported.
I still have problem with my apt-proxy, but that is not the issue in
this bug report. Please close the bug, I don't know how to.

Chris Halls about what I should type, but his instructions didn't work.

I prefer the latter; the former is needlessly verbose.

is simply wrong.
