I'm not sure whether this would fit, but wouldn't it be a lot
easier to put /usr/lib/busybox/* as the first directory in the PATH
environment?

if you put a line in /etc/fstab like this
/dev/fd0/floppy autodefaults,user,noauto 0 0
make the /floppy dir (mkdir /floppy), and then run:
mount /dev/fd0

The TFTPboot worked fine on my SS2
the tftpboot file uses TILO though, IIRC

! btw, I like the 2.2 installation. Is the ability to grab all
the base and rescue files off of http new in 2.2 or is it just for the
sparc? Either way, it makes it *SO* much easier.

dbootstrap gives me all kinds of garbage. I was wondering if I could set
the comm parameters on the serial port so that dbootstrap works, or
failing that, is there a debian install system that doesn't use curses?
