Hi again.
I have to manage some dual-boot setups and to make sure that existing
NTFS partitions are kept and only non-NTFS partitions are deleted.
I've tried to achieve this, by adding the following early_command and
partman settings.

Dear Rasmus,
I am trying to install debian on my ASUS UX31, and have to use the
wheezy installer built from sid (debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso) to
be able to detect the wireless card. And that works. But when
debootstap tries to install the base system, it fails, saying that

Hi again.
The most strage thing: Wheezy and Squeezy (!) installers both was
broken. I feel somehow lost due 'stable' regression.
Are you using the kernel.org mirror? This one seems to be out of sync
atm. I had the same problem, which has been solved by downloading the

Hi all,
is it possible to retrieve a preseed file from a NFS share instead of

Hi all.
I wonder if the vaulues:
d-i clock-setup/ntp boolean true
d-i clock-setup/ntp-server my.time.server
are related to the installation process or to the target system, as
setting these options in preseed does not seem to result in
configuration changes on the target.

Hi everybody.
I have noticed that one main reason for the etch Release delay is the missing
of kernel 2.6.18 in the d-i. Now I wonder if its really necessary to keep the
installer kernel on track with the one that comes with the distribution
itself. The kernel on the d-i install media is afaik

Hello,
is there a way to pass a dpkg selections file to a preseed installation
instead of listing optional packages one-by-one?
Best Regards
Marcus
