I downloaded the i386 CD#1 build image
today and just tried using it to install
and am still having the same bug # 387767
problems.

Let me preface my information below by
saying that while I was trying different
things, I found that if I don't set the
framebuffer to false, I never see the
kernel panic. The system locks up tight
with a gray bar (row) at the bottom of a
blue screen. If I do set the frame buffer
to false, I can
I forgot to mention the slight
detail that I'm having install
kernel panics with Etch Beta 3.
Also, I tried doing the install
by disabling DHCP and setting
framebuffer to false but still
got the kernel panic.
