Veracrypt system encryption for Windows 7/8/10 on UEFI is working by
creating an additional efi program on the EFI partition. If this efi
program is added to the GRUB menu, then I can successfully boot my
system encrypted Windows system from GRUB.

I wanted to commit your changes, but it broke also cdebconf and anna if I
probed fakeroot debian/rules binary, I think you didn't modified debian/rules
as it is needed. Or am I bad, and it is not a problem?

o you can probe it out without any data loss.
After you verify the lilo.conf what the script made you can run lilo
by hand. (But please back up everything, no warranty ;)) )

I think this user asked about the UNIX program which can crypt a text file,
your answer is good for passwords, but it can't code a text file.
I think the best way is to generate a gpg key pair (which can be found in
gnupg), and code the file with the public key.
This will strong enough.

I can claim this one. I wrote a letter before about a nice boot manager,

But I can wrote the debconf things for lilo (and grub, and sbm if it is ok).
