I encountered this issue trying to install Buster on a Gigabyte Brix
2807 - hanging at 11% trying to install 'discover'.
Changing the BIOS setting for OS type from Windows 7 to Windows 8 also
fixed it for me.
Thanks all,
Quentin
any work being done to support this architecture right now? I see iSeries
listed on the debian-installers ports status page as "Unavailable", what
would it take to make it available?
Thanks!

Thank you very much! I feel rather silly now, the solution was quite obvious
now that it's been pointed out.

ow to do so. So far I've added "include=main:apache"
and "main:a:apache:* main:liba:libapache-mod-ssl:*" to the filter line,
neither worked.
Does anyone know how to do this or can anyone point me in the direction of
documentation? I am using 0.2.8 version on sarge.

the earliest.
BTW, what do you mean by "Try deleting base-config/main-menu from your files",
I'm not that familiar with the installer so I'm not certain where I'd find
the file you mention.
Thanks

I was appending the option preseed/file=http://blah/~fraser/aruba.debconf, I
also tried preseed/url.
I understand that fetching from http means you will get asked questions up
when the network is configured (I do have dhcp available). I always went to

I be looking at d-i rather than the
woody installer? Certainly from a hardware detection point of view I prefer
the idea of using d-i.
I'm not finding the woody install manual too enlightening at the moment but
maybe it's the late hour. Any advice appreciated.

What I meant to say was that after configuring using DHCP I had a screen where
the only option was continue, it didn't tell me
not part of / ... there was no option to set
these parameters (though they should be detectable).
Hope this helps, if you'd like further testing let me know.
