Severity: important
Hi,
After installing debian 6.0.0 in a ibm power5 lpar (power platform; powerpc
cd), the installer fails to install a bootloader (yaboot and prep both fail).
The system won't come up then of course.

Hi,
It seems that when the lpar reboots when one selects install64, and then
after the reboot again install64; the system then *does* boot!
Now when the system is fully installed one needs to upgrade yaboot to
1.3.14. Then the system is able to boot from disk as well.

An other minor problem: when booting the debian cd in rescue-mode,
'detect disks' does not find anything. If you do invoke the rescue-shell
then, and then check the output of dmesg: the disks ARE found and you
CAN mount them.

Ok this fixed the problem that installing from a virtual optical drive
failed during the package-installation.
A new problem, though, is that when c

Will the buildproces produce an .ISO-file? Then I'll definately give it

Hi,
It would be nice if one could install on the combination of a memory
stick/compactflash card and an nfs share.
That way one can also boot non-pxe systems without any local disk.

Hi,
It would be nice if support for installing on an nfs-rootfs would be
supported. That way one could have /boot on, say, a flashdisk (or a
cdrom) and then continue the boot from an nfs-share.
