FYI --
I have downloaded this snapshot a few days after sending e-mails to
([EMAIL PROTECTED] (Joshua Kwan)) with details on the modules needed to
make this hardware work (as requested) and I must report that the hardware
is still apparently not recognized nor configured.

ng seems to be ok in
the h/w detection side of things.
(1.5) the observations above (in (1)) apply to both TC-1 and
the 2004.06.12 snapshot.
(2) While the "apm" module was loaded,
apmd was not. Curious. I had to apt-get it.

as Joe Sixpack usually has no clue what NTSC, PAL or any
other norm is. To them, they are just dealing with the
"tv" and that's it. Though I think they can understand
selecting between cable or antenna input, so this could
be left to the TV app.

Such a motherboard uses the same NIC & sound kernel modules. It has the
same video card

the unstable archives and for proper "pinning" of packages,
installing "kdebase" from unstable should have also installed
"x-window-system-core" automatically.
