Laterly I got some help and it seems there is a install iso that contains more
firmwares, just like Ubuntu.
Since I can install Ubuntu 16.10 without problem, I think it should work.
For anyway interested, please search for "firmware-8.7.1-amd64-netinst.iso" and
try.

Dear all,
There are two three queries I have but instead of bunching them
together, would try to get solutions or pointers by spelling them
individually.
Below is the first one -

installing Debian either on too new hardware o
Pushed to the setup git repo, so marking this fixed. Thanks for the patch!

Dear Maintainer,
Today, I attempted to install Debian9 with the GNOME desktop environment on my
personal desktop. I used the rc3 netinst iso. I'll also say, I attempted to do
the
exact same thing, several weeks ago with the rc2 installer, and th

Hi,
When I install Debian using the Stretch RC 3 release of the Debian
installer on a Dell Inspiron 7348 2-in-1, the installer appears to be
successful. When I reboot the system and try to boot the installed
system, however, the screen goes black after displaying "L

Yes, I actually was given only static IPv4 parameters to connect the

Dear Maintainer,
When I manually added user Debian-gdm to group video in /etc/group, gdm starts
up correctly now.
Kind regards,

hi,
I had a look how docker images for 32bit are built. Despite looking very
official by their namespace,
32bit/ubuntu and
32bit/debian
I found that "32bit" is nothing more than an idividual guy who created an
account at docker hub in oct/2010. (https://hub.docker.com/u/32bit/) He created

FWIW, I helped Mekeor a bit on IRC originally but since I didn't know
what was wrong I recommended to send an email to debian-boot.
