[cc me on replies]
This is a critical bug making the entire live installation unusable. Can
we fix this before 8.1?

Someone on my team at Dell made a doc on how to do this with SLESa few years
ago. I can't look it up right now, but a search for "Stuart Hayes UEFI PXE"
should pull it up. It shows how to set up the DHCP server too so that you don't
break legacy PXE too.
That should be a good starting point.

I'm wishing to use Debian-Installer to create a Debian (testing)
installation with a full disk encryption scheme where the root partition
is a file system directly atop the dm-crypt device.
As it stands, it appears the installer requires you to create a
partition table on the Encrypted Volumes

I've struggled a bit with this recently for work and am still figuring

Suffering an XY problem here: I want to set up a small machine to work as DHCP/
TFTP server to serve as part of an autobuilder to provision lots of machines
built as a
standard build for Debian 8. I have a set up for providing PXE from a
Cubietruck running Debian.
I have a TFTP/DHCP set up whi

Seeing this "solved" by an opt-in for being secure switch is simply
embarrassing for Debian's already not so shining security philosophies
and paradigms.
There's basically no reason that speaks against doing it properly, i.e.
vice-versa: requiring verification by defaul

Dear Maintainer,
It's another VIA-device without graphics-output, I wished, it would work by
default, not
the other way around, getting fixes upon request.
