Dear Maintainer,
installation with amd64 efi worked fine so far (thanks!). But after
installation grub was missing
the efi_gop and efi_uga modules. Those missing modules resulted in a "no
suitable mode found" error
and a black screen afterward

Hi,
the wheezy default kernel 3.2 does not provide an appropriate nouveau

I intend to upload a backport of debootstrap for squeeze, as other packages
I will be backporting depend on newer versions of debootstrap. It seems to be
a simple rebuild (arguably, not even that is truely necessary).
Let me know if you have any suggestions or concerns:
diff -Nru debootstrap-1.0
This is by way of being a suggestion for an addition to the Guide and
a transfer/removal of some other content. Two patches are attached.
Section 4.3.1 mentions the mini.iso as being suitable to be written to a

Hi,
This is just a reminder for maintainers (including me ;-)
We have to care about update this package after d-i strings freeze
