Hello, it's 2011 and not 1984. Broadcast and network addresses are standardized

'network' and 'broadcast' lines do not need to be written to
/etc/network/interfaces

During install from DVD, installing grub-pc on the new system fails.

Well no, this bug seems to be about USB drive being treated as ISO
partitions.
Here the issue, at least for me, is that the d-i add a
fstab entry like:
/dev
debian-installer-utils_1.86_i386.changes uploaded successfully to localhost
along with the files:
debian-installer-utils_1.86.dsc
debian-installer-utils_1.86.tar.gz
di-utils-shell_1.86_all.udeb
di-utils-reboot_1.86_all.udeb
