seems that os-prober relies on a linux-specific sysfs in line 29:

While testing a preseeded install that preserves a data partition
(moving from lenny to squeeze), we discovered that the change from
cylinder to optimal alignment makes the preserved filesystem unusable.

Hi,
i'm trying to install new vmware virtual machine (esx4.1) using netboot amd64
daily builds.
It doesn't detect disks, when i run disk-detect from shell i get
