Bug#476184: os-prober: Mounted partitions after running update-grub
Warning: Unknown package 'grub-ps'
Bug reassigned from package `os-prober' to `grub-ps'.
I've made os-prober warn if an umount fails, but that's all that can be
done about this bug in os-prober if I've analised it correctly.
I'd suggest that grub-ps only suggest os-prober..

FWIW, I think adding a libthread_db-specific patch to mklibs
(Joseph's part 4) is reasonable. It's part of glibc, for which there
are already local hacks in mklibs. And it's a library with a
particularly annoying interface, that relies on undefined symbols in
the library being defined in the appl
Does libparted have support for that kind of partition table?
it doesn't look like it (both parted and gparted also detect the
partition table type as GPT).
If not, it would have to be implemented there first.

Dear Debian Team!
I encountered a vital problem with my network card while installing debian

this might be a bug, but I'm not sure.
I tried to install the system in expert mode while being physically connected

Bug reassigned from package `partman-base' to `partman-partitioning'.

Hi,
I did an install with a daily image, suite=etch. It went pretty good,
but in the end there are several differences in the /var/log/*
permissions compared to an older Etch system. For example,
/var/log/messages used to be root:adm 640, now it's root:root 644.
Where does this change originate
