Component in a version are major.minor.sub. Now, given that
Linux 1.0 was ages ago
Another check I'm playing with is the following:
make sure all the strings containing the comment:
"#. Translators, this is a menu choice.MUST BE UNDER xx COLUMNS"
are really under xx columns.
The following need to be fixed:

Hi.
An even simpler solution is to boot the installer with:
install libata.atapi_enabled=1.
This will correctly propagate to the installed system as well.
Just my 5 cents

No because it should be on the CD. If it isn't then the CD is completely
broken; if it is, then there's something else wrong.
I want to know what's wrong before offering a solution.

Hi!
Please could you support Valencian (southern Catalan) in localechooser?
It is identified by the [EMAIL PROTECTED] locale, which has been recently
committed
to Debian glibc SVN (pending upload attow).

During an offline install (no ethernet and no dialup connection) from
Etch weekly cd builds, my base system installation fails trying to
download the "Release file".
Is it possible to skip this step (as for the mirror selection)? Maybe
altering some install script from the console?
