Since this bug is only triggered in particular configurations (swap as
the first partition on the disk) and only on sparc, severity 'grave' seems
to be something of an overkill. Additionally, there is an identical bug

I believe that this bug is a duplicate of 262868 aka "[SPARC] no 'FREE
SPACE' in newly initialized disklabel", a fix for which has been already
uploaded to unstable. Please test and close, if appropriate.

I have been unsuccessful in getting a working d-i for use with a custom
debian cd due to di-/kernel mismatches and builds that don't. I have
tried using the latest sarge branch
svn co svn://svn.debian.org/d-i/branches/d-i/sarge debian-installer
and then, from the debian-installer directory and

I ran into a problem with tasksel when I build it from SVN.
While 2.18 (sid) or 2.15 (sarge), I tried to build 2.19 from SVN so
that I can incorporate the fix for 278186.
However, EVEN WITHOUT 278186 fix, lauching tasksel manually (or in
d-i) just gives me:
