When I tried to install Debian Linux on my Windows ME desktop, I got the
following error by using cfdisk to partition the hard disk:
FATAL ERROR: Bad primary partition 1: Partition ends after end-of-disk
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!

You need to update the languagechooser package as well, to get your
language listed as a language option.
Check README.trans for instructions.
You probably also want to make sure the correct keyboard is selected

Hi,
when trying out images on alpha today I noticed that fdisk is not
getting installed.
Two things can be done:
1. raise fdisks priority so anna installs it
2. have partitioner depend on it
The 2. thing needs to happen but I think the first should also
happen. Some other archs fdisks have prio

Hi there,
I tried to install on a pre-partitioned scsi disk
(part1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of which 3 is assigned as swap)
formatted with reiserfs.
afaik these should show up as mounted somewhere under /target
Using the 03-10-31 version the partitions do not get mounted.
Also tty1 does not redraw

This is under the assumption that language and keyboard

No idea on the package I should report this against.
The cfdisk package, which has translations in sarge, is not translated
in the debian installer.
This would however require to include the util-linux locales, which
has a price :

While digging into debconf templates for "polishing" them, I found

Just need to be sure : what is "DASD configuration". The main menu

Currently, the steps order looks like :
Language selection
Network hardware detection
Modules loading
...
then partition hard disk (the good old cfdisk)
Going to main-menu first would be better, imho : this would allow
users to go to autopartkit if they wish to do so.
