pdflatex processes hang and eat 100% CPU while making install.da.pdf. This
has happened www-master twice already, so I have reason to believe that it
will repeat.

I found that while experimenting with debootstrap:
with potato the 'Components:'-field contains 'main contrib non-free'
and debootstrap tests this field on emptiness.
It seems, yesterdays woody's Release file was built incorrectly, leaving
this field empty.
