on this machine:
athlon xp, 512MByte on a Shuttle AK35GTR (BIOS AK35H00F, includes
latest HighPoint-BIOS) with an UDMA133-controller HighPoint372

604e @233Mhz, two SCSI discs, floppy, CDROM, 128Mb RAM.
