Jim,
The easiest way to deal with the base-config problem is to put
base-config 1.33.18 on a floppy disk and when it comes time to reboot
after the initial install:
1. Type "linux single" at the lilo prompt.
2. mount /floppy
3. dpkg -i /floppy/base-config_1.33.18_all.deb
4. umount /floppy
5. exi

Hey,
I am installing woody on a mac.
I boot with a netinst CD I generated and burned. Then I install with http.
It asks me the question for the time zone configuration, then for the password setup
and again for the time configuration setting and so on in loop.
Any clue ?
JM

Thanks for all the advice. I'll try J Esteves' idea.
I had thought of Chris Tillman's suggestion to add a new source
using apt, but since I'm working off a local mirror (16 installs
to do)
1) I don't really want to rsync unstable as well
2) I had thought that since apt kicks in only
I'm tracking two bugs in the database about how lilo isn't sizing
memory properly when it loads ramdisks. This appears to affect a
certain class of machine. I don't have a machine with < 64 MB of
memory, so I cannot test it directly. I can tell that the latest LILO
includes a new codepath that

Hi,
I added a function in libd-i. This function is used in netcfg.
Could someone commit this change please ? And is there any plan to release
libd-i, because ddetect and netcfg use utils.c which is libd-i.
Thanks
