Update this for the current behavior of busybox. Needed the 'ctrlaltdel' to

Hi there.
I have a problem with Debian -- it won't install. It hangs at
"Writing inode tables: 27/76" after selecting and setting up new
partitions from within cfdisk. Hardware is as follows:

Hi all
I saw a couple of people mention an IRC client on the boot floppies and
I though this would be cool so I wrote something. It's 18008 when
compiled standalone and increases the size of busybox by 9088 bytes:

Hi!
After debugging busybox enough so that I could use the cvs version to
build installable floppies, so here is my report and also some questions I'd
like to know the answer, so that I could continue trying to inprove boot
floppies.
When installing the base packages there seems to be a problem

Erik has already applied a preliminary patch I submited to him, it is
already on cvs, however I like my second patch better. I also have reported
to Erik a malloc missing on chmod wich causes segfault, this does not s

Hi,
a collegue got a Gericom Webboy (a SIS chipset based laptop, see
e.g. http://mobilix.org/gericom_webboy_e.html ) and wanted Linux on it. I
helpfully suggested Debian. We got the CDs from linuxiso.org
(2.2_rev2) and tried.
None of the 3 CDs will boot. They either don't show a display, which

It's used on the i386 rescue disks.

This bug has since been fixed in CVS and in testing/unstable, so
perhaps this should be closed instead? In any case, it is a
problem with base-config, not pppconfig. Sorry for the
misdirection.

Is SYSLINUX used anywhere on b-fs or the CD images? I noticed that
syslinux is a Debian package (Section: base), but I'm not sure if
it's even used. Also, I'm a bit concerned that Debian distributes
version 1.48 (Dec 1999) while upstream is at 1.62 now (with the
capability to boot from CD-ROMs).
Hello,
I'm using mklibs to build small libs from libc6 and other libs.
I'm trying to run ntpdate (as a test) depending on librt, libc and
libpthread.
That's why I added librt and libpthread from my system to my boot-disc.
when I'm running ntpdate
I'm getting the following message :
ntpdate: err
