Right, you can't create device files as a normal
[we're talking about why I can't get rootskel to create proper /dev/ files.]
It looks like one problem is trying to run mknod (or cp -a) while not root to

I have a big drive (hdb) (IBM 40 Gig) with EZ-drive. I boot with floppies
after the EZ-DRIVE menu.
fdisk is correct about my harddrive but the install don't see my swap
partition and my linux partition.
Partitions of /dev/hda :
Size = 2 G
I'm forwarding this to to appropriate list.
This problem must be particular to powerpc, accessing the cd certianly
works on i386, since it uses the same kernel after install as it used to
install from cd. Is something weird going on with the ppc kernel?

Hi,
I have 11 identical PC's and wonna install potato on all those PC's
Is there any way how to install potato to one (first) and use some trick to transer installation to others 10 PC's ?
Any help would be appreceiated.
