My computer (i386) has one of those bad RTC clocks that doesn't
work with years after 1999. (Y2K-non-compliant you could say).
So the Debian installation (potato, 2.2r0, from CD) gets the wrong
time. When installing packages, this causes many warnings

I recently installed Debian 2.2r0 "Potato" on my Toshiba Tecra 8100.
Various patches were necessary to get all the hardware working.
