It's about installing on a zip 250. kernel 2.2.17-idepci find without problem the internal zip 250 drive (/dev/hdb). Partitions, filesystem and mounting are done without problem from the command line, but the installation finds only the harddisk (/dev/hda). There is no CDROM. Installation works co

Hello everyone, I can get my SMC EtherEZ ISA network card only to work in PnP mode, not with set io and irq parameters. This seems strange since Slackware 7.0 with aic7xxx Linux kernel 2.2.13 recognized the nic without a hitch. I would appreciate help and clarification to resolve this mystery.
