It's some kind of a bug that happens if dselect (or maybe tasksel/apt
sometimes) exit in a certian way. I have seen

reassign 67718 kernel-image-2.2.17-powerpc
thanks
Please talk to the linuxppc-dev list about this problem. I don't have
the hardware to look at it myself.

Well, I generally mean all i18ned floppies, but Polish version is a little
bit special in that docs don't build in potato.
I thought that I had time to finish the translation until 2.2.17 was built,
but now I can see that CD images for TC3 are ready (only except for potato).
Does it mean Debian w

Using boot-floppies 2.2.16, the bug described in #66284 seemed
to occur. That is, PCMCIA configuration went quite happily,
but then setting up the network seemed to try to reinitialise
the PCMCIA system again, and failed.

as reported earlier, this is not really a bug, and there isn't very much
we can do about it. This is only a "problem" on the main/ud
I'm going to need to make another set of boot floppies for powerpc. If
people don't want to deal with the testing, I can just fudge it and
upload binary only; I only changed powerpc-specials/. I think a new
set might be wiser, though. Thoughts?

If debconf is going to play a central role for the woody installer it
may be beneficial to rewrite it in c.
Perl has its uses, but its a pretty big overhead for the installer if
its only used for debconf.
How stable do you consider the functionality provided by debconf, do you

Hi all,
A little while ago I announced my intent to work on the boot
floppies. I am now finished with a patch that allows to preload
essential modules from a floppy at the beginning of the installation
process. For example, you need a driver for the raid card on some
servers. The process uses
