I'm using the Summer 1999 Infomagic distribution cd's and chose multicd
access method.
After going through the initial setup and logging in as root I couldn't
find any X11R6 related files anywhere, just empty directories. I tried
again using dselect.
Here's what I get after selecting:

(patched) kernel rescue disk to work, but get a "Unable to find swap-space
signature" and "Sorry, your computer does not have enough memory." after the
root disk is loaded. Anyone know a fix?

I installed from the test cycle 2 US cd images onto a rack-mount box
with a dac1100 raid array in it (uses the dac960 driver). It also has 2
gb of memory. This install would have been basically impossible under
slink.
Everything went perfectly. The boot-floppies used the dac960 devices
flawlessly
