In any case, you can use the current installer if you take one thing
into account: simply start the installer and perform an installation
This is just a note to inform people that the netboot installer images
on ARM for etch (Debian 4.0) are currently broken.

After some time i got it to work although it had dhcp and i am sure i had

Upslug2 is a linux tool for flashing images onto an NSLU2. It does not
have a windows port as far as I know.
There is a SerComm upgrade tool which does much the same thing and works
on Windows.
