I've now tested with 2.6.36-rc5 from experimental. This version
doesn't boot on the TS-209 at all. I've reported this upstream.

does it say? If not, edit /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf and set
MODULES=dep

trying to install the experimental 2.6.35 kernel, ran into this (pardon the
Swedish):
