Alternatively, you can use a cpu module of some kind, and just do the
easy things :)

I am no electric engineer, but i had a collegue who designed three arm based
boards with gEDA,
week to confirm this.
I don't particularly feel like backporting those fixes to 2.6.17, especially
as the etch kernel target is 2.6.18, but others may volunteer to do it, or i
may do it if i find some time.

There are no 2.4.27 generic powerpc kernels in etch/sid anymore, or there
should not be.

ge we are waiting one include the latest
tk8.3 (which failed because it depends on tcl8.3 which was uploaded the
exact same days as tk8.3, and thus not available), tetex-bin and

enough to solve this problem.
Sorry for having messed up as i did.

Also, note that alpha is a 64bit plateform, and that as thus it could be that
it handles some things better than ia32 or ppc. Not sure if this influences
floating point values, i guess not.

Caml package. Many thanks to Philip

Thanks, will apply the patch, build the package on arm (possibly on monday)
and upload the package to debian.

medusa.armlinux.org, but maybe, if it would be ok
for you, i could see if the arm porter guys could provide you a login there,
don't know if they would but i can ask.

Ok, but it changes nothing, ...
Jacques is looking into it, i sent him the (huge) camlasm0.s file.

Ok, i will, ...
but i think it is not that, at least that is what i understood from Jacques
Garrigue's mail about labltk.

Hope this helps, it may be truncated though.

Just cross posting to the debian arm list and Philip Blundell.

I get the same still, (sorry for multiple messages here).
I just forwarded the bug report upstream, since i cannot fix this myself.
Would you like to get in contact with them directly ? if yes, i will forward
any further correpondance with them to you also.

are installed (that would be tcl/tk 8.3-dev, and not
the currently installed tcl/tk 8.0 -dev.
Does this cause problem ? if yes, i can move the build depends to use 8.0 on
arm, and 8.3 elsewhere.
Don't worry about the emacs dependency though, as i will remove it in a future
ocaml 3.01-5 package.

Well, i should rebuilt the package on medusa, it bombed at the end, because of
the missing emacsen dependency, but the rest of the built went ok.
Now, that was with armv3l, not with arm4vl. Could someone please build the
package on an armv4l box so that i may close the bug ?

be a problem introduced by the
passage from whatever binutil version was used in potato and the one in
unstable right now.
Also, notice, i have seen similar message when building kernels, that where
gone when i again upgraded, maybe this is similar ?

Don't know about it, will forward this to upstream, to see what they think
about it.

Thanks, if it builds correctly, then i will close the bug on monday, and
forward the patch upstream.

phase.
4) is there something i can put in the package description to say that only
the armv4l and sa110 subarch are supported ? Will a package compiled on a
armv4l (for example) also work on another flavor of the arm arch ?
