owfs on NSLU2 ARM

2009-10-12 Thread Mr Doug -
I checked in on this many months ago and it was in the works?? Is there a package/driver for Debian Lenny on the NSLU2 for OWFS. The last time I checked it was not yet available or in the ARM package. I want to use OWFS devices via USB to monitor a remote location using the NSLU2.

USB PORT assignment

2009-06-05 Thread Mr Doug -
I know I don't know enough about this so maybe someone can enlighten me. When I connect a USB to serial adapter on my NSLU2 Debian system all is well... it assigns ttyUSB0. But if I disconnect the cable and then reconnect it assigns the next port - ttyUSB1 and so on going up. Is this normal?

Fuse - Compiling in NSLU2

2009-05-27 Thread Mr Doug -
Minus a compiled FUSE package I am curious if a compile using GCC in the NSLU2 (Lenny) of FUSE source would work. I was able to successfully compile it in my NSLU2 but did not go beyond the "make" stage for fear it might be bogus. Doug -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-arm-requ...@
