is it possible to run the installation program over a serial console? I
have tried booting my netwinder with rescue_netwinder.bin (2.2.16 I guess)
and tried making it use ttyS0 as console but constantly failed. Has anyone

Thanks for all help. It works fine now, but theres an annoying cosmetic
bug. I get loads of messages in the syslog reading:

Is anyone here using the netwinder with debian and XFree86 as
regularly? Is it stable, and if so, on what versions of kernel and
x-server? I'm about to start using my netwinder on regular basis as
desktop computer and I'm eager to get any hints or similar.

I'm not sure if this message really fits this list, since it's probably
not really arm-specific. Anyhow, I'm running a NetWinder with potato from
somewhere around early february this year (I haven't been able to upgrade
