me. I had one problem where it timed out downloading the kernel but I presume that was just due to the load on Lennert's DSL line! Is the kernel built with compatibility support for the old ABI or is it running at full EABI speed? Cheers, Laz -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? h this this evening. The "normal" arm installer took many goes before it would boot it, for some reason. Cheers, Laz -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

IP address and then just stopping. Looking at the dmesg file, the date is now two days in the past: I'd hope that wouldn't confuse it enough to stop it booting! Cheers, Laz -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

W. They are lighting and flashing variously but not when the disk is mounted. I would have thought that I had nslu2-utils installed but I could be wrong: they used to light up as expected before I started "messing". is also lit. Running wireshark on another box shows no traffic from the Slug at all. Does anyone have any clues on what to try next? I don't have a serial console on this thing but I don't think it would really tell me much more, anyway! Close but not quite there yet! Cheers, Laz

rade from debian-arm to the EABI port or is it a complete reinstall? If so, is it a "by hand" install or is there an installer image for it? If this is "the best" option for a Slug, I'm happy to give it a go on one of my Slugs (once I've checked that the packages need are available!). lots of long 'pauses' when accessing nfs exports off a slug running Debian-arm. It seems worse when reading rather than writing to the exports (from another Debian box). Where can I get the 2.6.18-4-ixp4xx kernel package to see if it fixes my problems too? I can only see my current 2.6.18-3-ixp4xx image at the moment (through apt).
