Does it need to have communications with something else or just a connection. Can you connect it to a router or switch without anything else connected and have it work? If so perhaps you could loop it back to itself or just use a small cheap router with nothing else connected. __

Thanks for the reply. I guess I am not sure if it made it to the Debian ARM package list yet. It may very well have. What package name(s) am I looking for? Doug --- On Tue, 10/13/09, Wookey wrote: > From: Wookey > Subject: Re: owfs on NSLU2 ARM > To: debian-arm@lists.debian.o

owfs on NSLU2 ARM

2009-10-12 Thread Mr Doug -
I checked in on this many months ago and it was in the works?? Is there a package/driver for Debian Lenny on the NSLU2 for OWFS. The last time I checked it was not yet available or in the ARM package. I want to use OWFS devices via USB to monitor a remote location using the NSLU2.

modprobe pl2303 I tried a rescan shell I found on the net but this just rescans the scsi/usb ports of the computer not the devices connected. Maybe there is a better way to do this, such as a signal or command you can send to the converter SW But this works. Doug This reinstalls the converter

Fuse - Compiling in NSLU2

2009-05-27 Thread Mr Doug -
Minus a compiled FUSE package I am curious if a compile using GCC in the NSLU2 (Lenny) of FUSE source would work. I was able to successfully compile it in my NSLU2 but did not go beyond the "make" stage for fear it might be bogus. Doug -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debia
