Issue with Gnome-mplayer VIdeo player

I want a video player working on a13_olinuxino board. I am using gnome-mplayer on LXDE desktop environment . Though it is working but there is no sync between audio and video. Please help . Also please tell if any other lightweight video player is available for LXDE environment on a13_olinuxino.
