Yes, I did find some posting about resetting the SheevaPlug at power up.
Someone determined there was a very smal window of opportunity after the
power up which was very difficult to hit.

May be a quick reset after power on could help.

The only way to get able to talk to it was something like undocumented failsafe
recovery.
