Hi, many thanks for all the hints on cross-tools! I think, that going "the Debian way" :-) would fit best. Therefore, I did neither try the precompiled binutils/gcc from emdebian (yet - maybe later...) nor did I want to compile "by hand". What I did ($ = user, # = root): # apt-get install toolc
